Callisto Media: Software Developer

Callisto Media was formed in July 2006 to bring advertising and non-advertising content to people in a unique outdoor environment. Our intelligent outdoor advertising system will deliver Software-as-a- Service management of advertiser’s campaigns across 1000s of locations automatically while providing advertisers the targeting and tracking available only in the online world. We are looking for a software engineer to work with us on developing the initial version of the software for the outdoor devices.

We are looking for a developer that has

• Experience in developing distributed applications and strong familiarity with Service Oriented Architectures.
• Demonstrated strong, hands-on knowledge of object-oriented concepts and programming experience with Java and J2EE standards.
• Applied knowledge of HTML, Microsoft .NET, JavaScript, JSPs, Servlets, JavaBeans, JDBC, XML, XSLT and AJAX.
• Strong relational database and data modeling experience (including Oracle, DB2 and/or SQL Server).
• Experience integrating web or portal applications is preferred.
• An understanding of agile methods and software engineering development cycle
• An appreciation for user-centered design
• 2-4 years of hands-on development experience
