Functional Tester:

  1. Tenacious - willing to track down details about an issue by contacting users, pouring over logs, reviewing source code and direct experimentation with the software.
  2. All knowing - posses a wide knowledge of computers, networks and programming in order to more accurately diagnose reported issues that may or may not be in our software but cause users pain.
  3. Flexible - able to drop everything to focus on a new emergency.
  4. Easy going - able to calm down a stressful situation (remember, our customers have big guns and missiles)

RedPath Integrated Pathology: Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for an outstanding Senior Software Engineer. This highly visible position is responsible for:

  • Providing technical leadership and hands-on contributions to all aspects of RedPath's software development and implementation efforts including design, user requirements, programming, testing and software support for RedPath's information technology infrastructure.
  • Efficiently developing high-quality, robust software and developing and/or modifying pre-existing software packages (primarily for internal use) to support RedPath's business and workflow, including the Laboratory Information Management System.
  • Building flexible systems that accommodate existing regulatory requirements and that can be modified to meet future requirements.
  • Documenting all activities and developing software to comply with RedPath's Quality System.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 10+ years experience in software programming and development, including all aspects of the software life cycle, UML, and agile methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise Java, including EJBs, application development, Frameworks and Web Services.
  • Expertise in quality standards such as ISO 9000 or other industry-specific standards, with specific knowledge of design control and quality systems.
  • Expertise in developing interface design and documentation of APIs to support the growth and evolution of the company.
  • Strong database expertise, including storage and persistence issues, data warehousing, OLAP, cubes, etc.

Other pluses include:

  • Knowledge of medical systems development, including HL7 and the ability to accommodate regulations such as HIPAA/data privacy, and the FDA validation process.
  • Experience with or interest in scientific programming, especially in the life sciences environment.

Description

The qualified candidate will design, develop and strengthen the network security features of the Netronome Product Suite. This position also requires interacting with the hardware, software and manufacturing teams to design our next generation products.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a strong foundation in Linux, C/C++, SMP, pthreads, and Perl or Python programming. A strong background in embedded programming is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

  • BSCS/CE required - MSCS preferred
  • 3+ years of software development coding in C/C++, and Scripting (Perl/Python/Shell) experience
  • TCP/IP, ,UDP, SSL, IPSec, IDS/IPS, Firewall architecture, Routers, and VPN Network Security experience

  • Extremely detail oriented
