Landslide Technologies, Inc.: Professional Services Associate

The Professional Services Associate's primary functions will be to effectively participate in the launch of new customer sites and support Landslide's customers on the use of the company's applications. Support includes site navigation and basic troubleshooting as well as interfacing with other Landslide teams to deliver world-class service to customers. The Professional Services Associate will provide complete satisfaction with all customer interactions. This position reports to the Manager, VIP and Support Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Successfully builds and implements new customer instances within the required timeframe based on requirements of the customer.
  • Provides inbound product and technical support for Landslide applications via phone and email. Resolves issues and performs site updates within expected service levels.
  • Documents all interactions through the CRM system while adhering to all team processes.
  • Conducts all customer interactions in a manner that represents Landslide Technologies, Inc. in a positive light. Professional Services Associates are required to be respectful, fair, gracious, knowledgeable, and are expected to uphold the core values established by Landslide Technologies, Inc.
  • Ensures that individual performance meets or exceeds the team standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS (or relevant work experience).
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL (preferably in Oracle 10g)
  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies preferred
  • Knowledge of ETL / Data mining preferred
  • Knowledge of CRM systems preferred
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer-centric mentality and problem solving skills.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Products. Working knowledge of other software a plus.
  • Team player a must.

Steel City Jobs: Applications Developer

The Applications Developer will have solid SQL skills with experience with SQL based databases. That experience will be accompanied by either (or both) a background of using Object Oriented RAD languages, such as C# or Delphi, to create desktop applications or experience with programming languages, such as PHP, Cold Fusion or AJAX, to develop interactive web-based database applications. You will participate in writing testing and support of our custom applications that perform order fulfillment, accounting / reporting and customer support operations.

The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and will be able to discuss software requirements with our non technical customer support staff. The candidate will also be able to answer questions about our custom applications and provide basic Windows desktop support or our employees.

Data Warehouse Consultants: Data Warehouse Architect

The Data Warehouse Architect is responsible for the analysis and development of logical and physical data models for a full functioning data warehouse and ad-hoc reporting solution for client users of our commercial applications. This work will involve technical design as well as coding (construction).

Experience:

  • Five or more years of experience in SQL Server 2000/2005 database design, management, optimization, analysis services, SSIS, data mining and business intelligence solutions
  • 3 or more years relevant work experience in Data Warehouse Design and Development
  • 3 or more years in data modeling and OLAP design in a RDBMS environment
  • 3 or more years performing MS SQL Server 2000/2005 database administration

Skills Required:

  • Expert at creating and maintaining Data Warehouse / Data Marts
  • Expert at data modeling and OLAP design
  • Expert at all aspects of SQL development (SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc)
  • Expert at performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization
  • Proficient at capacity and hardware planning to meet space/performance needs
  • Proficient at creating and maintaining database deployment scripts
  • Proficient at SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) installation design and implementation
  • Knowledge of SSRS data models
  • Knowledge of SSRS report wring
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with end users to transform requests into robust solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • BS/BA in computer information technology, computer science, management systems, or related discipline
