Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The web developer will be responsible for html programming, graphic integration, CSS development and other client-side oriented development as needed.
These responsibilities include:
- Hands-on coding tasks
- Evaluating site requirements
- Providing technical architecture analysis
- Full life-cycle development, including wire-frame development and implementation plans
- Creating technical documentation and other deliverables as needed.
- Working with the creative team, developing new technology demonstrations for clients.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or an additional 2 years of hands-on experience directly relevant to the job.
- 3+ years working in the web development arena in hands-on roles.
- Experience with other related Web skills, including Visual Studio, SourceSafe, HTML, along with programming in JavaScript and other client-side functionality such as DHTML, CSS, Atlas, XML and XSL.
- Knowledgeable in Object Oriented Analysis/Design.
- Proven skills in implementing and defining formal software life cycles, including written requirements, test cases/plans and detailed technical architecture.
- A detailed and hands-on understanding of custom Web-based technologies and systems (such as content managed Web sites, e-commerce systems and Intranet/Extranet applications).
- Programming capabilities at all levels of the application (the database, compiled object, and script levels).
- Flexibility, independence, persistence and an interest in our business and client’s business.
