Manager, Information Design - S07-5950
See the above Information Design Description. PLUS: Someone with supreme cat coersion and herding skills. Vocabulary for feline manuvering to include "Don't do that (when you want it done)."
Software Developer - S06-5795 (Java)
A developer who can visualize, design and implement an improved photosynthesis process in one leaf and not lose sight of the entire forest.
Software Engineer (Quality Automation) - S05-4053
Open the hood and make the software do all the tricks the it knows how to do and everything else you can think of. Creativity is a MUST.
Software Engineer II (Quality) - S07-5854
We need functional testers and performance testers. See the descriptions of each.
Functional Tester:
Think of new ways using a mouse, a keyboard, some data and the software to convince your computer and other computers to make faces, go peek-a-boo, heh presto and poof possibly at the speed of light.
Performance Tester:
- Necessary:
- Ability to notice that which is around them
- Willing/able to pick up new skills
- Extreme Creativity
- Pick a couple:
- Perl
- Windows Batch Scripting
- Unix shell scripting
- Light system administration
- Hardware knowledge (RAID, NUMA v. SMP, Bottleneck Analysis, etc)
- OS configuration
- Deep Java understanding (GC, threading)
- Reasonable Java programming

Technical Support Developer - S06-5621
A support engineer should be:
- Tenacious - willing to track down details about an issue by contacting users, pouring over logs, reviewing source code and direct experimentation with the software.
- All knowing - posses a wide knowledge of computers, networks and programming in order to more accurately diagnose reported issues that may or may not be in our software but cause users pain.
- Flexible - able to drop everything to focus on a new emergency.
- Easy going - able to calm down a stressful situation (remember, our customers have big guns and missiles)
